Our Ontario Wilderness Houseboat base is located at Gill's Morson Marina on Hanson Bay on pristine Lake of the Woods, Canada. Once you get to Gill's Morson Marina, you will be met by Stewart (father) or Terry (son). Our friendly and courteous staff will help you load up your houseboat and acquaint you with the equipment on-board. A marine radio keeps you in touch with our base station, and provide you with weather updates.

We will spend time studying the detailed lake chart with you before departure, suggesting celebrated fishing spots, and give you instructions on how to best secure your houseboat for the night. Lake of the Woods' protected bays and islands provide plenty of calm waters and are excellent places to tie up in the evening.

Once you've completed the orientation, you'll be manning your houseboat safely on Lake of the Woods, so get ready for an extraordinary Canadian wilderness experience!
